The Burns Family Healing Camp
Exhibition at All Saints Anglican Cathedral, 10035 103 St NW, Edmonton
March 1 - April 12
produced by Bleeding Heart Art Space
In late summer of 2019, generations of the Burns family gathered for a healing cultural camp on the shores of Pigeon Lake, the Wapihoo (White Owl) Healing Camp.
Experience the camp from the perspective of Burns family members, through the personal photographs, stories, and reflections they graciously share in this exhibit. Witness the individual healing journeys ignited by this inter-generational family gathering, and encounter the Apology for Spiritual Harm offered by the Anglican Church of Canada to Indigenous Peoples.
