"Join MacEwan University's Writer in Residence Deborah Willis and the University of Alberta's Writer in Residence Margaret Christakos for a joint reading off-campus at the Bleeding Heart Art Space on Alberta Avenue.
Willis is the author of two collections of short fiction, including Giller Prize long-listed The Dark and Other Love Stories (Hamish Hamilton, 2017), one of the Globe & Mail's Top 100 Books of 2017. Christakos is the author of nine collections of poetry, as well as Space Between Her Lips: Selected Poems (Wilfred Laurier UP, 2017) and a recent work of literary memoir, Her Paraphernalia: On Motherlines, Sex/Blood/Loss, & Selfies (BookThug, 2016).
