Altered books are a form of mixed media artwork in which the artist takes old, or unwanted books and transforms them into a piece of art. Collage, paper folding and tearing, painting, and chosen word block poetry are several of many techniques possible when creating an altered book. 

This two and a half hour workshop is an introduction to the art of Altered Books and will include what kind of book is the best to work with, how to prepare your book, and some basic beginner techniques to start you off.

Cost is $20 and space is limited to 10 participants.
